Daily Progress Notes

All patients in ED Obs need a note every day.  If a patient does not have either an admit note or a discharge note, they need a progress note.   To write a progress note for a patient in ED Obs, please use the dotphrase ".sjhedobsprogressnote"

Status Updates, Critical Results, Changes in Plans

 For any changes in patient status, important results, changes in original plan or really any time you are doing any doctor-y work for the patient, please document this with a progress note as well.   Think of this is your Time Stamp charting in the ED.
